Privacy Policy — Jarful
Last updated: 8 November 2026
Jarful is a savings-goals app that lives entirely on your iPhone. There is no account to make, no server behind it, and it never goes online.
What stays on your phone
The jars you create, the amounts you put in or take out, your notes, the currency symbol and your settings are kept in Jarful's private storage on this device. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to see it.
What we collect
Nothing. Jarful has no sign-in, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and it makes no network connections. It does not link to a bank, and it never asks for card or account numbers.
The saving nudge
If you switch the weekly nudge on, iOS asks whether Jarful may send notifications. When you agree, the reminder is scheduled on your iPhone for the day and time you chose. You can turn it off in Jarful or in the iOS Settings app whenever you like.
Exporting
When you export your savings, Jarful makes a CSV file on your phone and opens the iOS share sheet. You decide where the file goes; Jarful does not send it anywhere itself.
Clearing your data
"Clear all my data" in Settings removes every jar, entry and setting from the phone. Deleting the app removes everything too.
Children
Jarful collects no information from anyone, children included.
